Insightful. Creative. Reliable. Witty. And that’s just my cat.
I’ve been writing in a professional capacity for 15 years now. My first article pitch about Chronic Fatigue Syndrome was commissioned by the (now obsolete) Reader’s Digest Health Magazine. Excited, squealing actually, it spurred me on to pitch to Arts Hub, providing me with the opportunity to write about Melbourne’s vibrant arts scene. As an arts reviewer for Aussie Theatre, I lived the dream reviewing oodles of amazing live performances (and some not so).
Writing a comedy column for the AFL Record was a bit of a fluke. I knew nothing about football but, admittedly, knew everything about being a footy widow (someone abandoned by their boyfriend during footy season).
Since those early days, I’ve produced hundreds of articles for a range of print and digital channels including The Age and Sydney Morning Herald. For the past five years, I’ve been writing marketing content to help a tech business convert frustrated project managers into happier human beings. I’m also the current editor of the Afterpay Touch Magazine. I have a decade-long history with the magazine writing technology, retail and marketing features.
